Sasson Soffer passed away on October 17th, 2009. He was at home and his wife, Stella, was by his side, as she's been throughout. He went peacefully.

As the saying goes, he is in a better place now. He is. He is exploring again, painting, singing Arabic in the shower, finding life amusing, never complaining, eating whole grains, doing things differently and making time to relax and think. Doors are open again. Finally. Amen.

He is survived by his wife, Stella, his three children, Simeon, Sarah and Jessica, and four grandchildren: Haley, Samuel, Eve and Zenith.
